About The Source
In 2024 TheSource.ca changed to Bestbuy.ca. So the Source Canada has closed it’s doors sadly.
“The Source” (La Source), was a retail and online electronics store with over 720 bricks and mortar locations across Canada. Customers could find products such as LED TVs, 4K TVs, laptops, netbooks, desktops, iPods, GPS systems, home theater systems and much more. They also offered free shipping to your local store with all online orders.
They used to sell a variety of electronic products including; digital cameras, gps, digital cameras, mp3 players, batteries, pda’s, mp3 players, TV’s, computers (including laptops and desktops), ipods, Nintendo consoles, playstation’s, xbox consoles, PC gaming, cellular phones, telephones, and computer games.
The source has had a rocky history in Canada, but their service and offering was greatly improved since their acquisition by Bell Canada. They had retail stores on most of Canada’s high streets and their online store; thesource.ca was competing with the likes of best buy before they were taken over by BestBuy.ca.
From analyzing the feedback from customers and looking at the rating the store has received it seems that while their prices were reasonable the store would of benefited from looking into their customer service and trust to improve their product offering.
How to Use The Source Coupons
While at thesource.ca checkout you could of looked for the section that says; “enter the source promo code” this is where you would have needed to paste the code you copied from this page to apply the discount.
Shipping can be expensive in Canada, owing to the size of this country so understandably thesource.ca’s past offer of free shipping to your closest Source store was a great offer. Especially on larger products like big screen TVs.
