Here in our Montreal office we are big fans of comedians and just fun in general. Once a year for 3 weeks we get the Just For Laughs festival in the heart of the city and we love it, quite regularly getting passes for some of the most anticipated shows of the summer. This year we saw Nina Conti a truly funny ventriloquist (click the link to see a sample video on YouTube).
We have some friends who love comedy so much that they went to the Edinburgh festival this year to spend some time drinking and laughing, and on their return they came back with the usual stories, one of which was a truly great recommendation for a rising star in the comedy world; Nick Helm. In fact I just read an article abut him on the BBC talking about an award he got for his funniest joke;
“I needed a password eight characters long so I picked Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs.”
So enough was enough. I went in search of a video to see how funny this guy is and I have to say that I was pleasantly surprised. I laughed out loud a number of times causing people around me to come and check out my screen and laugh along. The video is below, but fair warning there is swearing and everything else you can expect from a comedian, so I would wear headphones if you are at work. Have fun and let us know what you think?
