Floraqueen emailed us with a new discount code that will allow customers to get 10% off their order for flower bouquets before the 25th of March. This promotion is in link with a new collection they launched for St-Patrick’s day. All excuses are good to send coupons to encourage customers to shop at Floraqueen.com and to get an extra discount on their purchase. Why not if this allows us to save some extra money ? At the end we can always choose from which online florist we buy our flowers from!
Promotion Expired!
I know that every customer’s experience can be different when shopping at an online store, but I ordered a flower bouquet from Floraqueen.com and I thought that you might find it really helpful to hear about my personal experience. So last week I ordered flowers to be delivered at my best friend’s office for her birthday before 1h pm because she was going to be in a meeting all afternoon long. It was supposed to be a surprise, but for an obscure reason by 1h pm she still hadn’t received it, but she did have a phone call from the florist on her mobile. Unfortunately, as she was stuck in a meeting she couldn’t take the bouquet and she wasn’t able to get back to the florist before 5h30 pm. I’m still trying to understand why the florist would need to phone her as he already had all her personal information to deliver the flower bouquet, plus there is a receptionist at her office that would have taken the flowers for her as she was unavailable at this time. If Floraqueen would have let me know that they would absolutely need to reach her, I would have let her know to ensure that she wouldn’t miss the bouquet but they never said so.
So around 3h pm I filed a complaint at their customer service (no phone number available of course!!!), plus another one at 5h pm and finally a last one at 6h pm to ask for a full refund because she still hadn’t received the flowers. During all this time, no one from customer service got back to me. So I finally showed up at my friend’s place for dinner at 7h pm with another bouquet that I bought after work to be told that she did talk to the florist when she called her back at 6h pm after work and that he would be delivering the flowers around 8h pm. When the bouquet finally arrived at 8h30 (remember the delivery was supposed to be done before 1h pm), it was so small that I couldn’t believe I actually paid $75 for that tiny bouquet! I took a picture to compare it from the one on the website and there’s absolutely no way that it can be the same one. I’m also wondering, how small is the small one from the website if the one I got was a large?!? I can’t imagine how disappointed the customers must have been when ordering small or medium ones. Honestly this was a bouquet I could have bought at a florist for probably $20.
Floraqueen’s customer service finally got back to me (more than 30hrs later) saying that accordingly to the florist the flowers had been delivered. I told them the entire story and ask to have a discount on my order and they still haven’t replied. This was on Monday. Not only were the flowers delivered late, the bouquet was unimaginably small plus I also needed to buy another bouquet to compensate because their customer service never got back to me on time. Anyway, I know that a lot of you might have had a great experience with this online florist but I thought that it might be helpful for some users to hear about my story. If that can help you with deciding which online florist you’re going to choose, well I’m happy about it.
Dear Anne,
