Save some space for a delicious Slurpee from 7-11 on July 11th! From 11am to 7pm, all 7-11 locations will be giving away free 7.11 oz Slurpees of all colors and flavors. No need to brush up on your Simpsons trivia or to practice your best impersonation of Homer Simpson’s “D’oh”, just walk in and claim your free, tasty treat.
I recommend getting there early as there are limiting it to only 1000 free Slurpees per location. They’re a popular item on any given day and they are bound to go fast because they are free. What flavor are you going to pick up? The Fanta Blue Raspberry has always been my favorite.
Spotted by one of our regular users (thanks Gina!), this offer will apply on specially marked Kellogg’s cereal boxes this weekend. This popular cereals brand is offering a free $5 gas card with select purchases, so keep an eye open for specially marked products.
There is a limit of 5 gas cards per address and it should take between 6 and 8 weeks to receive it by mail. I tried to find more information on the Kellogg’s website but it looks like their whole promotions section didn’t work well so I couldn’t learn anything really helpful.
Please keep us posted if you see one of these specially marked boxes and let our users know where you spotted it so everyone could enjoy this deal. As usual, thanks for your help bargain hunters!
Go on the Lacoste perfumes website now and request a perfume sample of your choice. You simply have to fill in a few basic bits of information and choose which sample you would like to get.
You can choose between 4 fragrances for men (Eau de Lacoste L.12.12, Eau de Lacoste Rouge, Essential Sport and Challenge) or 2 for women (Joy of Pink and Touch of Pink). Only one freebie per household.
Upon completing the sample request form, they will give you a request ID and a URL so you can track where your sample is.
The tooth fairy is still fluttering around leaving dollars and dimes to little munchkins when they lose their teeth. It’s always a milestone and a celebration with the first tooth that falls; so why not be frugal and save by giving your tot a picture of them with the tooth fairy herself? What makes this even more spectacular is that you can get it for free.
This is a site I’ve never heard of before, but it’s quite simple to use. Upload a picture of your child and then select which fairy you would like added to the picture. From there, you can change the position, size, color and a bunch of other different options. You then have the option to either print out on your own printer or save it on your computer. Use the code below to get started on your free picture.
Now, if only that darned Tooth Fairy would actually deliver baby kittens…

The Badabing sauce is a spicy sauce that adds a little something extra to your meals. It is available in 3 different ‘hotness’ levels: Breeze, Fire and Lightning (seriously funny names). While the first one is supposed to be for people with only a low tolerance to spiciness (this is me), the last one is more like a challenge for people who like to sweat when eating spicy food (this is my boyfriend).
My boyfriend adds spicy sauce to everything he eats; burgers, pastas, salad, rice, salmon tartar, etc. And it seems like it’s never spicy enough, so I ordered the Lightning one for him. When we went to Indonesia, it was like a challenge for him to taste all the most spicy food and sauces. And he got rewarded because the food there can be really spicy, a lot more than what I can handle.
This is one freebie that I wouldn’t wait too long to claim if I were you, because we have no idea when it will end or how many of them are actually available. You can order yours if you are 18 years old and older and if you don’t live in province of Quebec (as it is not available there). I think I can hear you shouting: “get to the freebie already, we don’t even know what it’s about”, okay okay, hold your horses. The offer is for Advil Nighttime Samples, for the grand cost of zero.
Have you tried these before? I hit a difficukt patch in my life a while back and I had trouble sleeping, so I actually tried these sleeping tablets and I thought they helped me to initially get to sleep (didn’t help resolve the underlying issue obviously). Just be careful not to try them during the day though, unless you have time for a little power nap ;)
It always surprises me that we’re allow to order medication by mail, because anyone could order them, even though they say you need to be 18 years old and older, you don’t need to prove it. I thought this would be something illegal or at least frowned upon even though you can get them at your local pharmacy, I think it would have been better as a printable coupon, that’s just me though.
We talked about this free activity last year, but we weren’t sure if it would be continued this year. But after checking today, it looks like it will run again from July 9th to July 15th 2012; kids can play golf for free on select courses across Canada. Any junior less than 16 years old can play for free, if accompanied by 1 paying adult.
Now this sounds like a fun activity to do with your kids, if they are interested in learning how to play golf that is. And because it can be expensive to play golf, at least you won’t have to pay for your kid playing with you. Follow the link below for a full list of participating golf courses. It’s certainly worth looking into if you like the outdoors, and walking.

The mini-kit is valued at $15 and contains eyeshadows, blush, bronzers, lip-gloss and much more.

Not only will you be getting a free makeup kit, but you’ll also be helping out an amazing charity, because with every mini-makeup kit that they give away, they will also give one to the Beauty Bus Foundation. It’s a charity where they offer grooming services and pampering products to chronically or terminally ill men, women and children, and their caregivers. They send beauty bags, do in-home visits and even do pop-up salons in and around the Los Angeles County. It’s a pretty amazing foundation and you’ll be helping to give someone a smile.

Contact lens wearers; it’s time to rejoice once more for Clearycontacts. Not too long ago, I wrote about the neat Buy one, get one free deal from them (which is still going on and hasn’t expired yet, by the way!) which offered you an incredible offer for contacts. If that day ever comes however, that your eyes get tired and you’d rather go for a pair of glasses, then Clearlycontacts.ca is there to try and save the day once more. For a limited time, if you’ve been a faithful customer to them and have been buying your contact lenses from them, they want to thank you by offering you a free pair of glasses.
To start, surf the available selection they have for this deal and choose something that appeals to you (with over 700 styles to choose from, you are bound to find something!). The free pair includes the frames and a standard 1.5 index lenses; however, if you’d rather a lighter lens or a specialty coating, you can upgrade for a fee. If I remember correctly, this is the third time that Kotex have offered this freebie for their U products. It looks like they are really trying to push this line of tampons and pads with all these freebie promotions. It’s a good thing for us because it means more free samples from Kotex. I didn’t have any trouble getting mine the last time I ordered them, so simply go online and fill in the sample request form (which is from Walmart FYI).
The samples are available until the end of July 2012 or while quantities last. There are 25,000 samples available so I doubt the promotion is going to last until the 31st of July. Hurry up if you want to order yours.
I’m not sure if we’ve really mentioned the Nestle Baby program before, but in case we didn’t, here’s a quick post to tell you how you could get freebies from Nestle Canada. The program will help you to get the following: coupons and samples, the ‘nestle Start Healthy, Stay Healthy’ baby feeding guide, diaper bag with change pad and customized emails with tips, tools and videos.
If you’re interested in signing up to the program, it takes around 5 minutes, simply use the below link. This really is a good tool to save money as a mom/dad and enjoy some freebies without even having to order them.
General Mills are doing it again with another great freebie offer (they were giving away beach towels last summer). This time you could get a free Olympic t-shirt and a free pair of flip-flops with select purchases.
Buy a specially marked box of General Mills cereals and enter your code found inside the package using the below link to order your freebie. To get the flip-flops, simply purchase 2 specially marked packs of Nature Valley Granola Bars or Betty Crocker Child Snacks and follow the same step to order your product.
The products are available in limited quantities only, so don’t forget to get a specially marked item during your next trip to the supermarket. And from what I remember last year they had some trouble with the website, so if ever it is down when you try to enter your code, just go back later and it should work.
David’s Tea are running another free tea promotion, but this time it seems like it’s only going to be available to the dads out there. On June 17th, they will be offering a free cup of tea to all dads who show up in one of their stores (I’m not sure if you would have to show up with a kid or not to prove you are a dad). I couldn’t find much information about how this promo is going to work exactly, so don’t hesitate to leave us a comment if you know more than I do ;)
I know my dad likes tea, but I’m not sure he would really be willing to drink a hot tea if it’s 30 degrees on Sunday. But I think I would still prefer a sunny day than a rainy one with free tea. Anyway, this is a great promotion for all the men who appreciate tea, no matter what the weather like, eh Stephen?!?
Do you know what time it is? It’s my favorite time of day: it’s freebie time! To make this deal even sweeter, it’s another free underwear offer for men! Until June 17th, receive a free pair of Boris Style Underwear with your next purchase. That’s an $18.99 pair of underwear for nothing.
Here’s step by step directions to snag a pair of underwear:
Choose the items you would like to buy and add them to your shopping cart (Frugal tip: Choose something less pricey, like this Sammie t-shirt)
Add the Boris Style Underwear (item number BM13635) to your cart in the style and color you desire
Input the coupon code
Cheer for free underwear!
Real frugal-men should pick their pair in pink, just sayin’.

I was really happy to hear about this ‘HMV Digital free track of the week’ because I’m a huge music fan and I love to hear new albums and bands. Every week, HMV is giving away one free track from HMV Digital. It’s their online store section, where you can download music online, similar to iTunes.
When I checked last you could get a song from the album ‘Alone’ by Indicah called ‘Alone’. I listened to it and it’s not really the kind of music I like, but maybe you will like it. Give it a shot!
Earlier this week, I was discussing with the team what they think is going to be the song of the summer of 2012. My bet was ‘We are Young’ by the band FUN that you have probably heard a few times on the radio. What is your bet? What do you think is going to be the song of the summer?
I usually have the worst luck when it comes to contests, but I finally won something! Lysol has been running a contest for the past few weeks on Facebook for the chance to win one of 12,500 Lysol No-Touch Hand Dispensers. Each week for 5 weeks, they are giving away 2,500 to lucky participants and my turn was last Monday! I honestly don’t remember even entering the contest, but it was a pleasant surprise to see the email announcing that I had won. I have to buy the refills separately, but I’m not going to refuse a $10.00 item for free (Oh, I really do cherish that word!).
There’s still time to enter if you haven’t already. Just head over to their Facebook page, ‘Like’ them and fill in your details to be entered to win your free dispenser. If I can win with my string of bad luck, maybe you can too.
Also, you might want to check out Freestuffeh for more free stuff. I found out about this giveaway from them.So I thought a shout out was in order.
It’s Freebie time again! Reitmans has a deal running for a Free Beach Bag when you spend $75 or more. Best part about this deal? It applies to online and in-store purchases as well. From the looks of the bag itself, it seems like a decent size and able to hold all the essentials you’ll need. This deal runs until June 16th, 2012. It’s just a shame that it’s w/purchase.
Also, make sure to check out the other promotion they have going until June 30th. Each time you spend $50 online or in-store, they give you either a discount code for $25 off or a gift card of $25 to be used in-store. Not only do you get a free beach bag, but you get a $25 discount for a future purchase. Not too bad.
Take note, however: the gift cards and discount codes are only available for use between August 5th to September 2nd, 2012, just in time for back to school shopping.
Still at a loss for ways to get your teen out of the house this summer and to stop playing Diablo 3? What about something super frugal? You can’t get more frugal than free. From July 3rd until August 31st, teens aged from 12-17 are eligible to sign up for a free fitness program, thanks to Goodlife Fitness Canada.
Parents/Legal guardians are required to fill out the online registration for their teens for legal reasons. During the registration, you will be able to choose the gym you would like your teen to start the program with. Keep in mind that there are restrictions in place and they are all listed in full detail on their site. Some aspects of the gym, like the pool for example, are not available for teens for security reasons.
This program is available 7 days a week, from 8am-4pm for teens; giving your sleepy teen enough time to wake up and make their way there.
If you live in Toronto or the general area, I have found an amazing frugal activity to keep your kids entertained. On June 16th, present a Coca-Cola product and your child (12 and under) will get in for free. That’s a $15.00 value for the price of a coke bottle. If you’re a VC super fan you might have read that this was one of Stephens top tips to keep the kids entertained for cheap. They limit the rebate to one per family, but if you have multiple children, just buy your admissions separately to qualify for each child. Recruit friends and family if you have more then two children.
The day is promised to be filled with free samples, prizes and much more. From 1pm to 2pm, you even get the chance to meet Toronto Maple Leafs player, Clarke MacArthur. There’s plenty of excitement and appeal for kids and adults (especially if you are a die-hard Maple Leafs fan).
An excerpt from the Toronto Zoo main site:
Bring in a product label* from any Coca-Cola® product (including Fanta®, Nestea®, Minute Maid®, Five Alive®, Dasani®, Glaceau Vitamin Water® and Powerade®) and receive one FREE Child’s admission (up to 12 years of age)*. It will be a whole day of Coca-Cola® fun with sampling, prizes and more!.*Please note cans and tetra products will not be accepted and discount is limited to one per family and cannot be combined with any other offer.
Attention Men: I have a freebie meant just for you! The weekend of June 9th-10th 2012 only at Mark’s Canada, the first 300,000 lucky Canadian men will be able to walk away with a free pair or the new Denver Hayes with dri-Wear. How neat is that?! It’s rare that we see a freebie intended just for men so don’t miss out, pass this offer onto all the guys you know.
Wait, there’s more… Until June 11th, when you buy $75+ of gift cards in-store (not available online at all, sorry), they will give you a $15 cash card for free. Not only are they giving away free men’s underwear, but they are also offering you the chance to get free money (at their store). This is too good to pass up. If you’re smart you might be able to uese these offers in conjunction, try stacking. Also, if you’re an online deals only fan try stopping by our Mark’s coupon page, we update it when we have new online promotions.
This following excerpt was taken from Newswire.ca, which I thought described it well:
Canada’s leading menswear retailer, Mark’s, is inviting 300,000 Canadian men to try on a new pair of Denver Hayes® with dri-Wear™ underwear next weekend – for free. Mark’s will give the first 300,000 Canadians to visit any Mark’s store across the country on June 9th or 10th a free pair of the new Denver Hayes underwear with chemical-free dri-Wear technology.
Unlike most men’s underwear, the new Denver Hayes underwear help body sweat evaporate quickly and promise a more comfortable feel with the design of the product. Mark’s is well-known for bringing new innovation to traditional and comfortable menswear – making it the leading casual menswear retailer in the country. “
It’s freebie time! For a limited time only, Downy is giving away free samples of their new ‘Unstoppable in-wash scent booster’. It is a Facebook freebie, so you must ‘like’ them before you can request your free sample (Just unlike them after to avoid any unwanted messages, or you can use your second FB account). Sorry Quebec residents, but unfortunately you aren’t eligible for this freebie and there’s no mail-in rebate like some companies have been offering (like the Motrin sample awhile back).
Mentos are running a contest where Canadians can get a free pack of Mentos gum ‘Up 2 U’ every day (can only one per person though). There are 2000 packs a day available plus a $1000 to win each week. Our younger readers will be happy to hear that Canadian residents need to be only 13 and over to participate.
This is a Facebook contest, so you will need to ‘like’ their Facebook page to be able to get a free pack and enter the competition (as always you might want to use your second FB account).
Have you ever seen this Mentos commercial stunt they made in downtown Toronto to launch the Mentos round gum? The slogan of this campaign was ‘Make your world go rounder’ and it was run in different cities throughout Canada, including Montreal and Vancouver. You can find the other videos on youtube, but this one is my favourite.
Pretty cool eh? I would have liked to be one of the people bouncing! I heard that it was quite a hassle to stop all the traffic in Toronto…
Been needing a new Make-up brush set? How does a 7-piece brush set for free sound to you? Dynamite Canada is offering a free set when you spend $60 or more. It unfortunately doesn’t say if it’s online or in-store only and it’s a limited time offer as well. It also doesn’t say how much the set itself is worth, but it looks really nice!
They have some really nice clothes on sale that are up to 50% off from the quick browsing I’ve done. They have some nice summer styles left too as well in case you’re thinking of whether it’s worth it or not.
It’s a shame that the freebie is with a purchase only, but if you combine it with stuff on sale then there is still a definite reason to check it out.
If you haven’t heard of Pur Minerals yet, you are missing out! Pur minerals’ entire line of products are mineral based; which means none of those harsh additives from normal makeup which lead to clogged pores and oily skin. Mineral based makeup is also more breathable and gentler on sensitive skin (apparently). I have only dabbled in mineral makeup, but the few items I own come from Pur minerals.
Until June 3rd, when you spend $30 or more, they throw in a free “Summer on the go” kit which is worth $79.50. That’s a huge savings! It includes the following:
On the go eye trio
Mini Eye Shadow Brush
Deluxe size Impact+ Mascara
Iced Pearl Lip gloss
Mini Powder brush
Just include the code i’ve provided below for your freebie!
It’s Father’s day here in a few weeks, and a lot of my posts have been focused on gifts to give dad and this one isn’t any different. Until June 17th, 2012, Black’s is offering free 4×6 Father’s day Portraits, no strings attached! Just walk into any location and they will shoot it for you and print it on their Father’s Day themed borders.
It’s a great way to get your kids or grandkids involved, because dad’s everywhere will appreciate photos of them youngins. Even adults can take part in the fun. My father is a huge Montreal Canadiens fan, and as a joke, I could take a picture of myself in a Toronto Maple Leafs or a Boston Bruins jersey. Be creative!
Also, don’t forget to take advantage of our very own Black’s Canada coupon page. Don’t miss out on the current promo code we have for 25% off Photo Greeting cards (I added it at the same time as writing this article).
This one is kinda weird, but it’s an offer where everyone wins! D’Italiano Canada has started this massive Facebook campaign for their new Brizzolio Soft Rolls (which look amazing when used as Hamburger buns) and are offering a potential buy one, get one free coupon. Why potential? Because it all depends on how often it gets shared amongst people on Facebook. When they reach 10,00 shares, they will send a Buy one, get one free coupon to all who had registered.
But why does everyone win? Because currently it’s at 6,000 shares and the current coupon they are going to send out is a $1.25 coupon. So no matter what, everyone that registered is going to be getting a coupon of some sort. All you have to do is head over to their Facebook page, register and start sharing with everyone you know. There isn’t a deadline posted, so like every Facebook freebie, don’t wait to sign up. And don’t forget, you may want to use your second FB profile for this one.
Here’s a sample I know everyone will appreciate: Motrin Canada is offering free samples of Motrin IB 200 mg tablets (2 ct)! I have to admit; I had never tried Ibuprofen (the main ingredient in the the tablet) before, but I recently got my wisdom teeth removed (All four!) and quickly discovered my love for it! Motrin is now a staple in my medicine cabinet.
There’s one freebie allowed per household, unless you can convince your friends and family to order a sample for you! Unfortunately, Quebec residents aren’t eligible for this freebie, but there is a $3 mail-in rebate available instead. When you fill out the form, there’s a link next to where you can select your province and Quebec residents can print that out for the rebate.
Also, Motrin is offering a $3 off printable coupon if you enjoyed the product and would like more! Click here for the printable coupon. It expires February 28th, 2013 and is not valid for Quebec residents either.
I have to admit, I got excited when I saw this one! I dye my hair every few months and I had trouble at first finding a shampoo and conditioner that was not only good for my hair, but also helped to keep my color more vibrant and to help it fade less quickly. A friend showed me this product years ago and I’ve never looked back! It was amazing before they changed it, so I’m excited to see this version! (and I guess why I wanted to share this freebie with you)
To request your free sample, head over to facebook and ‘Like’ their page and you’ll be asked to fill in your details for this awesome freebie. There isn’t an expiry date, but I would assume that like most freebies that this one isn’t going to last long! (click the success graph to show if it is still working or not, help the community)
Having never heard of Aloe King before I did a bit of research to make sure this offer was legit for our visitors before committing to receiving a slog of complaints (I’m sure you would love me regardless). So this offer is genuine but it’s from a fairly unknown brand that hasn’t built up a reputation yet, but the offer is a simple one enough to claim. Albeit Facebook ‘like’ promotions seems to be unpopular at the moment (but I’ll say it again, simply have 2 Facebook accounts, it take like 5 minutes to set up).
This free aloe off comes from Aloe King. Simply ‘like’ Aloe King on Facebook, select either Aloe Vera gel or Aloe Vera gel with Tea Tree Oil then fill out your address details. I also checked the tick-box that said ‘gift-wrap’ because then I can give it to my girlfriend and become a hero for the day.
There was no information on when this offer will end. So please make a comment below if it is no longer working for you and I’ll update the post.
After I clicked submit however I wasn’t too impressed that it also opened a new window with a completely unrelated offer from electronicssavingsoutlet.net, which looked completely like spam. So I closed that window, I would highly recommend just to close any new windows that are opened by them and not participate in whatever offer they are selling or offering, it looked dodgy. However I did get an update on FB saying that my free sample will arrive in 7-10 business days.
~ Keep the kids away!
Here is a biased resource about Aloe Vera in case you want to read more about this plant and it’s claimed health benefits. Although take their advice with a pinch of salt, because they do say stuff like “Halts the growth of cancer tumors”, the website seems to be very pro Aloe. If you want to read an article about the potential dangers of Aloe then this article may interest you (the writer is an obvious hater of Aloe which is funny).
Please leave a comment about this offer if you claimed it! I’m in need of a good chat.
In nut shell, Curves is a gym (for women only – which is wrong if you ask me, but great if you ask my girlfriend). They have gyms all over the world but mostly in North America. And they are franchises, so they have a familiar vibe without being blue-prints of each other. Their claim to fame is that their workout sessions (yes, you are with lots of other sweaty ladies) last only 30 minutes and it’s circuit training, so you get to use a wide variety of machines and go through a ton of exercises, which means a whole body workout, rather than focusing on specific areas. Curves is all about the socialness of the event, if you could turn a tea house into a gym it would be curves (for the good or the bad).
I also saw an advert a few months ago that said they had teamed up with Zumba Fitness, so perhaps you can ditch your dancing and workout classes and just do the Curves/Zumba one instead. Actually, that may be lazy, which defeats the point.
T&C’s: “Limit of one 30 day free membership per person. Not valid with any other offer, no cash value. New members only. Valid only at participating locations in US & Canada. Offer expires 20th May 2012″
