It’s that time of year again, where everyone is sniffling,sneezing and looking like something from the Walking Dead. Make this time a little bit more bearable with a sinus rinse from Neilmed: it’s not as intimidating as you may think! For a limited time, you can get a bottle and two solution packets to get you started for free.
While I haven’t tried this bottle specifically, I have tried the Neti pot (which is basically the same thing). The cap of the bottle needs to be inserted into one nostril and upon squeezing,the liquid comes out of the other side. It’s a bit (read: really) gross and, if swallowed by accident, it can make you gag. Don’t worry! Here’s an issue I bet most of us have encountered at some point in time: you’re about to fall asleep and, all of a sudden, your partner next to you begins snoring like a bear during hibernation. With these Breathe Right Nasal strips, you will no longer be kept up by the roaring noise!

As a general fan of Dove products, I wanted to share a freebie /coupon that Emily (thanks!), one of VoucherCodes members sent, which allows users to get a free full-sized Dove Style+Care™ coupon, redeemable at a number of stores.
It’s rare to see a freebie for a full-sized product, especially from an established brand. They really must want to push this sub-brand. I know some people have already claimed this coupon, and since it has been around for a week or 2, people are still having success with it–even though Dove noted that only 850 coupons would be made available. Please make a comment if the offer ceases to exist to help other community members.

P&G Brandsampler has gone through an over-haul and has adopted a new name–or they are hiding from someone, hence the name change–along with some new samples. The ‘Try before you buy sampler’ is looming on the horizon, just waiting to snatch you up and take you away to the land of freebies. Granted, I don’t think we’ll complain about the idea of getting items for free.
My frugality level took a hit when the last Brandsampler was available; I missed it completely and didn’t pick up any of the awesome samples. I had friends who were boasting about their haul and what they got, and I was left in a corner wondering how on earth could I have missed this glorious event.
But no more. The page is bookmarked and I’m checking constantly for updates. Stay tuned for more information as they are released, like which items are going to be available and how long the promotion is running for.

Tide is now giving away 150,000 samples of Tide PODS via their Facebook page. To claim the freebie, you will need to ‘Like’ their page and wait between 6 and 8 weeks to receive your sample. Only one sample per household and participants must be 19 years old or older.
This is the first time that I have heard about this product but it must be something nice because Erin seemed to be really happy about this one and ordered her freebie straight away. I use these kind of ‘all-in-one’ tablets for the dishwasher because it is the same price and it works really well. So I might be tempted to switch to these kind of tablets for the washing machine too but I guess it will depend on how much they cost and if they do a good job, that’s what samples are for right?

It doesn’t take long to fill out the form and you don’t even need to ‘like’ their page to access it, which is awesome I think.
You should receive your three sachets of Tresemmé Split Remedy shampoo and conditioner in the next 6-8 weeks.
This will give you more samples to add to your travel bag! Unless you’re going to somewhere like a Fairmount that offer loads of samples, it’s always nice to have a few of them on hand so you don’t need to use the cheap shampoo that most hotels give or if you go to the chalet or camping.

I’m an unconditional fan of Tiger Balm. I remember that my mom always had some in her purse and she would use it in all kinds of situations. I bought one when I went to Thailand two years ago and it was probably the best purchase of my whole trip. I used it on mosquito bites to stop the itching and it worked wonders.

It’s always a challenge to find fun and interesting, yet cheap things to do as a family. Take the kids out this Sunday, September 23rd 2012 and enjoy free admission to the Ontario science center. Ticket prices usually range from $13-22, depending on which age group you and your children fall under, so this is a huge offer! There’s a bunch of different events and demonstrations going on as well that day. The one that intrigued me the most–even as a full grown adult–was where they dip mums (the flower) in liquid nitrogen and then shatter them into a thousand pieces with a flick of a finger. It’s to show how gases become fluids at extreme temperatures and the science behind it. There’s another one where you can dress up as your favorite mad scientist and take a photo to share with others!
Also, another bonus, the first 500 kids aged 3-12 will receive a free rock pencil at the Mastermind gift shop.

Every day I pass by a Cinnabon store and, even though the delicious aroma tempts me no end, I have yet to buy one of those frosted goodies. It’s their 25th year anniversary this year and, to celebrate, they are giving you the chance to try one of their scrumptious Minibons for free. All you need is this printable coupon and you’ll be on your way to delicious-ness.

So the deal is for a free 5 dollar Gas Card. You will find them in specially marked boxes of Kelloggs cereals. The deal is for a free $5 pre-paid Gas Card or a chance to win $500 in cash for Gas. A mail in form and a pin code will be printed inside all participating products which means you simply wait 6-8 weeks for your free pre-paid gas card to arrive. If you’re like me, you have a terrible time remembering to take your vitamins on a daily basis. There’s a bazillion and one things to think of during the day, and unfortunately, this is one of the things that slips through the cracks. As of now, there isn’t much information about how the freebies will be distributed, but let’s hope that everyone who liked the post will get one. Guys, I have a freebie just for you; something to make you feel a tad bit more handy around the house. For a limited time, you can snag your very own free sample of Victorinox from Swiss Army. It’s not often that deals like this come around but, when they do, they are awesome. For a limited time, there are multiple ways available for you and your kids to get free pizza from Pizza Pizza. Both ways take virtually no effort and are super simple to do; you just need to fill out a form and you’ll be on your way to cheesy goodness. Everyone needs a slice of pizza pie every once in a while.
The first offer involves a receipt from your last visit–if you have one of course. On the bottom of it, there will be details about where you can complete a survey dealing with your experience. Once completed, you’ll get a free menu item which you can redeem when you spend $10 or more. Please note that you must complete the survey within 3 days of your visit, but the free menu item is valid for 30 days after. Maybe a pizza with a side of apple pie?
The second offer is for the munchkins; sign them up for the kids club and they’ll get one slice of Cheese or Pepperoni Pizza as well as a 355ml can of pop or 250ml of milk or a 500ml bottle of water. Its freebie time, and I know this is one that many of you are going to love: Venaforce Gel. Now before I hear a chorus of “Huhs?”, it’s a gel specifically made for people with venous inefficiencies and have constant leg pains. I had never heard of the company before I did this research, so this as new for me as it is for some of you!
This gel apparently helps with the following problems:

It’s easy to get yourself organized, but to keep it up and to stay that way is even harder. Avoid the hassle of looking for sections of paper in an over-filled binder with these free handy Note tabs from Avery Canada!
These are super nifty to stop making a mess of things: from temporary bookmarks to referencing a page in a notebook. I think I’m going to use my free sample to mark certain places in the user manual for my car so I don’t have to fiddle looking through the index.
Also, if you have a coupon binder, you can also use them to divide categories; like food products and health items. Any couponer will tell you that an organized binder is a must!

It’s about that time of year; the dreaded point where the kids start announcing that they are “Boooreeddddd”. The pool doesn’t seem fun anymore, toys have lost their appeal and playing another round of hide and seek is just not the same anymore. Here is a way you can occupy the little critters; take them to a workshop instead at Home Depot. Put them to work and have them learn something at the same time.
If you didn’t know, Home Depot has weekly workshops for both kids and adults alike that are completely free and all the materials are provided for you. This particular weekend’s activity for kids is learning how to build a Bulletin board with just glue and a hammer. Kids workshops are open to children aged 4-12 and an adult must be with them.
I wonder if the kids will be able to build anything like this roller coaster. Perhaps I should also check to see if they run a similar apprenticeship at nationwide auto shop, I would love to help my fictional kids upgrade their electric car.
There are plenty of neat workshops coming up in the next few months, like learning how to build a fire truck for kids and how to install insulation for adults. There’s also a frugal-friendly workshop running the whole month of September about how to paint a room for only $99. I’ve been looking into painting my new space when I move, so I just might take a look at this workshop!
