Google Voice: free calls from Gmail

Google Voice that was released last year has now created a really cool application where you can make calls from your Gmail account. You can make phone calls in Canada and in the US for free and international calls for really cheap! I’ve had a look to the rates for international calls (2 cents to call on a land line in the UK) and it’s cheaper than with Skype. I couldn’t test it because I’m not on Gmail (I don’t know what the hell I’m still doing on Hotmail!) but according to their website it looks really easy to use.

So if you guys are on Gmail, then it’s a really cool application that allows you to save a lot of money! I also had a look to all the other applications of Google Voice and they do have a lot of really interesting ones, so I think it’s worth having a look on their website. And no more excuses for not calling your family or your girlfriend while you are on Holidays! So have fun!

Their liquids are apparently ecological, and can be used in any washing machine and they are even gentle enough for hand washing. Kelloggs cereals are running a promotion that I think makes no sense at all, but it’s an okay promo for what it’s worth, I just don’t understand what Kelloggs and Gas have to do with each other.

So the deal is for a free 5 dollar Gas Card. You will find them in specially marked boxes of Kelloggs cereals. The deal is for a free $5 pre-paid Gas Card or a chance to win $500 in cash for Gas. A mail in form and a pin code will be printed inside all participating products. So I don’t think the card will be inside the box, I think you have to send off for it which makes it a little less appealing. Then simply wait 6-8 weeks for your free pre-paid gas card to arrive. Apparently you can redeem it at any Canadian gas retailer who accepts major pre-paid gift cards. There is a limit of 5 cards per household. One $5.00 pre-paid gas card request per order/per envelope. I am not a usual protein shake drinker, but my brother is, he does a lot of kickboxing and rugby and wants to be as big as he can be, so he drinks one every night before he goes to sleep, he has gone through various brands and different flavours before finding one he liked. I tasted it and it wasn’t too bad, but remember most of them taste rubbish. So I have no idea if these actually taste nice, but anyone doing free samples usually has a lot of confidence in their product so give it a try. This Nestle coupon gets everyone a pack for 6 serving coffee sticks. I’m not the biggest fan of instant coffee, although growing up in the UK it’s pretty much what we drank for the most part until we were introduced into gourmet coffee about 10 years ago.
