Toys “R” Us Kids Day; Events and Demos for Kids

Have you read Stephen’s article on 26 free or cheap things to keep your kids entertained and still at a slight loss for ideas? I’m about to present you with an idea so ingenious that both you and your children (or friend’s children or relatives or even yourself, if desired) will be content for hours and will come away with great experiences.
On June 23rd, from 11am-2pm, participating Toys “R” Us stores (excluding ‘Express’ stores) are throwing a Kids Day that is promised to be fun and full of laughs (by Toys “R” Us of course). The activities and demos are the following:
- Making a Kre-O Battleship Boat
- Creating your very own Sticky Mosaics Butterfly
- Testing out cool gaming demos
- Showing off your skills at the Nerf Shooting Gallery
- Free loot bags to the first 100 families
Also, there’s a Little Tikes Backyard of Fun contest running, where one lucky grand prize winner will win a backyard play-set worth $2,250. I’m not a child anymore, but I wouldn’t refuse a free play-set. To enter the contest, click here for the official page. You have until July 2nd 2012 to enter.
