Twas the Night before Christmas, and all through the office,
Not a creature was stirring, not even our mascot cats.
The stockings were hung to our desks with care,

When, what to Marc’s wondering eyes appear,
But a miniature sled and 8 tiny huskies.
With a vibrant young driver, so full of pride,
I knew in an instant that he had to be the bearer of holiday savings.
Faster than jets his huskies did run,
And he whistled and shouted the savings he carried!

While browsing their selection, I came across this lovely marled cowl-neck pullover available in either black or camel colors. Displayed here on the right, it’s bound to last a couple of years considering its made primarily out of cotton and wool.
Also, if you have yet to find the perfect dress for the holiday party, consider the gold ivory dress featured on the left. To dress it up, simply paint your nails in a candy cane design and wear the highest red pumps you can find. You’re sure to impress in that little ensemble!
I have painted my nails in a candy cane design before and it’s super easy! Simply apply a coat of glittery red nail polish (though solid red works just as well), then when it’s dry, paint white stripes with a french manicure white nail polish (such as by Sally Hansen). You can also stick strips of scotch tape on your nails and paint over them with regular white nail polish. Though be careful peeling it off when it’s dry as this method can easily leave smudges. Seal everything off with a clear coat and voila: candy cane nails!

An often over-looked detail by many first-time flyers to the South is the proximity to the beach. Make sure that the chosen hotel is situated directly on the beach. For a short trips, I recommend booking a hotel that is not too far from the airport because while it may be cheaper to be further away, the back and forth can take away a lot of precious beach time.
Bear in mind that while the Riu Palace in Los Cabos, Mexico appears to be the ideal getaway with its luxurious rooms and sophistication, reviews on TripAdvisor are rather negative. Instead, I suggest the Grand Paradise Bavaro in the Dominican Republic. Located directly on the beach, it boasts 4 lagoon style pools for adults, 3 pools for children and even a grand total of 10 bars — can’t go wrong with that one! At $1,655, it’s definitely a great deal considering that the holidays is one of their busiest times.
While browsing the different packages available, I also stumbled upon a more renowned vacation destination: the Oasis Palm in Cancun, Mexico. Built in the form of a gigantic pyramid, a weekly stay comes down to $1,472 and only $40 more for an ocean view.

From what I can remember, while Under Armour participated in the Free Shipping Day on the 12th December 2012 in Canada, they decided to extend it for VoucherCodes.ca visitors (and everyone else presumably).
Don’t forget this valuable piece of information: the 21st December 2012 is the last day that customers can shop from the UA store and orders are guaranteed to be shipped before Christmas. After that date, stay tuned to Boxing week sales.

Those stuck for gift ideas obviously haven’t been to Hammacher Schlemmer (aka Hammacher). It’s sad that they closed down their .ca, but it’s cool because Canadians can still shop at their .com and have items shipped to Canada. It’s just the url that has been changed. I think we reflected about this on our main Hammacher coupon page (which should be reviewed before finalizing any purchase at Hammacher to get a further discount).

The Bay do have a free shipping offer valid over this shopping holiday (which I hope they extend well into 2013), but there are restrictions, most notably, customers need to spend over $99 in order to qualify. However….. for today (Dec 12th) only they are offering free shipping on all orders with no minimum spend requirement!
So for those holding onto their wallets and purses right now, log onto thebay.com and get shopping. Shipping fees are really the only thing that’s holding the Canadian online shopping industry back (it is a big country after all), so the more people that take advantage of this event at stores like the Bay, the more that will continue to offer it ongoing, which is better for everyone right?

By now, you’ve most likely heard about the past Black Friday and Cyber Monday deals a few weeks ago, and about some of the crazy deals that were available. But what most people don’t know–in fact I only learned about this event today–is that there’s now another shopping holiday that’s slowly picking up steam and right in time for Christmas delivery end dates! It was only a few days ago that I added a Sears 10% off coupon for toys (still available until Dec 24th), and it appears that it wasn’t enough of a discount for Sears as they have tripled their initial offer. Mind you it’s only 30% off select items (mostly those made by Fisher Price, but there are others).
True bargain hunters will try to stack this coupon on top of this sale at Sears.ca, so first grab the code on our Sears Canada page, then browse the selection of toys on sale and when the shopping cart is full, paste this code in the coupon box to see if it works on the entire selection. It worked on the one item I tested it, so it’s worth a try.
